I will not forget the ''DARKNESS OR THE LIGHT!'' April 15th, 2015...''HOLOCAUST
MEMORIAL DAY OR YOM HASHOAH'' Just a reminder of a few very special people.........Billy Graham who brought the Corrie ten
Boom story to the world. Steven Spielberg brought the Oskar Schindler story to the theaters. Now, those accounts and many
others will be celebrated...including that of Raoul Wallenberg, the man who saved the lives of tens of thousands of Jewish
men and women; Miep Gies, the woman who sheltered Anne Frank and her family and many more heroic stories.
YOM HASHOAH is a day when Jewish people around the world will stop to mourn and remember
the 6 million of their brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, grandparents and friends and relatives who perished. Flags will
be lowered to half staff. At 10 am in the morning a siren will wail across Israel, and everyone will stop where they are.
It is one of the most amazing thing you will see ever or hear of what will happen on that day in Israel. Cars stop
in the middle of the road, and people get out and stand competely silent. No one speaks, they stop and remember. In Jewish
Synagogues, prayers will be offered and psalms will be read and sung. As the day begins at sundown, a solemn ceremony is held
at the Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum in Jerusalem. Each year, Holocaust survivors light 6 torches, symbolizing the 6 million
who perished. During the day, events are held, including an annual ''March of the Living'' at Auschwitz with Holocaust survivors
and their descendants, which by the way has already happened.
