FREEDOM IS NOT FREE...................Freedom according to Websters
Dictionary is a ''right'' or ''privilege'' . Do not know if you know this or not and this is not counting all the wars America
has been in, but there has been 1,291,475 sons and daughters that have given their blood and lives for the freedom this country
still has. We cannot take our freedom forgranted! These people sacrificed the ultimate for what we have and we as a generation
must do the same if called upon. What will the legacy of this generation be? Oh, they just gave up without a fight. They just
turned the other cheek and looked away at what was happening. They let the government that they elected to serve them, take
their rigthts and freedom away from them without a fight.
SO SHALL IT COME TO PASS!
Romans 3:25 states the following:'' whom God has set forth to be a propitiation
through faith in His blood, to declare His rigtheousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forebearance
of God. '' And then in I Peter 1:18 & 19....''forasmuch as you know that you were not redeemed with corruptible things,
as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradtion from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ,
as of a lamb without blemish and without spot." So you see, without the Cross of Calvary and without the Precious Blood
of Jesus Christ there is no hope for mankind. Where would we be if those 1, 291,475 precious lives just simply said, ''you
know what, this is to hard for me, I don't want to die for what I believe. I don't want my wife, my children to live free,
I want them to remain in bondage all their lives. Ponder on this and ponder hard for it is where we are right now!!!!!!!!!!!
So, let us go back to what these precious
souls were willing to give their lives for! Do you remember these principles ? 1) there was prayers in school. 2) sermons
on television and semonettes closed virtually every station and broadcast day. 3) there were Christmas songs or plays in school
and Christmas and Easter recesses. 4) business and commerce closed down on Sunday because it was, ''the Lord's day.'' 5) the
name of Jesus was spoken in public gatherings. 6) all men and women living together on television were married. 7) pornography
was something relegated to seedy places and not easily accessible. 8) living together was considered a sin. 9) the killing
of unborn babies was universally seen as immoral. 10) divorce was uncommon. 11) the idea that marriage could be redefined
was unthinkable. 12) the idea that images of God and Jesus could be used in comedy and mockery was unthinkable. 13) America
was the number one creditor nation in the world, and there was little thought of a day when its global preeminence could come
to an end.
at this time is this: Do these same principles and or values hold true today? Why not? Was the sacrifice of over 1.2 million
of our sons and daughters, dads, brothers, sisters all for nothing? God is warning America over and over with His judgements
and we go about our business as usual. Is it not time that we wake up out of our slumber and recognize what is happening
to our America?
